Photo Editing: Photoshop

Client: University of Texas at Arlington
Skills: Design, Editing
Tools: Adobe Photoshop

As part of a Document Design course, we were tasked with editing several photos using Photoshop’s advanced features, including the healing brush, patch tool, content-aware tool, and clone stamp. This assignment challenged us to analyze the flaws in personal photos and submit improved versions accompanied by reflections on the techniques used and the rationale behind each change.

Although this project was not for a real client, it provided invaluable experiential learning. By working through practical scenarios, I honed my ability to identify visual issues, select the right tools, and apply edits that enhance the overall composition while maintaining the image’s authenticity. This hands-on experience reflects the kind of thoughtful problem-solving and technical proficiency that translates directly to client-facing work in design and photo editing.
