As part of a bid for a local pet rescue group seeking marketing assistance, I was tasked with showcasing my past work and developing a proposal tailored to their project. Drawing on my ten years of experience in copywriting, design, and social media calendar management, I created a comprehensive campaign presentation and delivered my pitch.
To prepare, I researched the organization’s history and watched interviews with the founder to understand its brand identity. One standout aspect was their emphasis on innovation, modernity, and saying “yes” to opportunities that supported their growth and mission to help animals. Inspired by this, I designed the “Say Yes” campaign. The campaign incorporated their existing branding and introduced a new “Say Yes” logo, which I created using Photoshop. The concept also included several extensions to ensure longevity, such as “Say Yes” to Volunteering, “Say Yes” Events, and “Say Yes” Merchandise.
My primary objective was to align with the rescue’s current branding and modern ethos while introducing a sustainable campaign. I believe my final campaign deliverables achieved this goal with strong, thoughtful execution. While another company was awarded the project, I received positive feedback, with my concept noted as highly appealing.
